Hello, looking to purchase a bagless vacuum cleaner-preferably a cordless (battery operated model) with a large tray or cannister for cleaning several rooms. Here's the main thing though. I want one that has easy access to the hose that goes between the floor sweeper and the debris cannister. Too many times in the past I have purchased cheaper models and when this hose becomes clogged (as it always does) with pet fur or human hair, I have attempted to access this hose to clean it out and wound up ruining the vacuum cleaner, not being able to reattach the assembly. So its really important to me that I find a model that offers easy access to this hose for occasional cleaning. Please reply with model and approximate price. Note I am not interested in a car vac or a wand vac , I want one with enough cannister capacity to clean an entire house. Thanks

Hi, trying to start the robot, a red flashing light appears and blocks any other operation. Occasionally the robots starts and it works normally for about a couple of hours covering the entire surface: this leads me to exclude battery issues but I would appreciate your support in finding the root cause of the red light. Dyson DC45: Why does my Dyson stop working every 3-5 seconds

We have a Dyson DC45. It shuts off (stops working) every 3-5 seconds. Can this be fixed, by myself or at a repair centre?

The Dyson DC 45 ( I have shown DC56 here as it appears similar to the DC45) stops every 3-5 seconds when in use. The following is a more detailed series of the events which occur.

The Dyson is fully charged, when starting use with the brush head attachment, stops working after about 10 seconds of use.

We turn it on using the trigger starter. It stops again after about 3 seconds. We release the trigger and press it again. It starts and runs for approximately 3 seconds, then stops again. The sequence of restarting is repetitive until we give up in frustration.

Is there a "home fixable solution" or must it be taken to a repair shop? If so, where in the Toronto area can it be taken.

Hi,

I have problem with my pure i9.

I got e23 and e21 error codes and i bought new batteries to fix it. Its still showing same error codes, when i put it on charging station.

Sometimes it shows red battery icon, sometimes white, but error codes stays same.

I have cleaned charcing stations two metal pads and also pads beneath the vacuum. Pads are shiny clean and dont have any corrosion or dirt.

I have also cleaned the hole vacuum with bottled air, so vacuum is clean from dust and dirt.

Internet forums dont have anymore solutions to fix my vacuum. Some forums are telling that this pure i9-model usually get eletronic fault and it cant be fixed...

Can someone please save my vacuum from dumpster?

Shark Rotator Lift-Away Speed: Wand Release button doesn't work.

We have had three Shark Rotator Lift Away Speed (not powered) vacuums all fail in the same way. The wand release button stops working, and the wand cannot be taken out. We have returned the first two to Target, and are hoping there is an alternative to keep returning them.

Dyson DC14: Why doesn't the vacuum head lie flat anymore?

The head of my DC 14 doesn't lie flat anymore. I had it in for service to replace a starter switch last July. When I got it back, it was very stiff to push and seemed to have great suction. I heard a cracking noise then when I was trying to pull handle down to vacuum. Since then, the head doesn't lie flat.

Dyson v6 Absolute: 0V missing at the brush head motor

The brush head has stopped working. I have cleaned all the removable parts properly and put it back together. However it still fails to spin. The vacuum motor is working fine!

So, next I took the main body to pieces to reveal the PCB. Using my multimeter I found there was 21V across the vacuum motor terminals. But when I went across the brush head supply terminals I get nothing. However if I go on the positive terminal of the brush head and the negative of the vacuum motor I get 21V.

i’m aware that there is some sort of overload to protect the brush head motor in the case of drawing high currents, and im assuming it’s in the negative line, but where is it? And can I reset or replace?

We've had our Narwal Freo Z10 Ultra for about 6 months now. Love this thing! However, we seem to be having a recurring issue with the base station clean water tank. After filling the clean water tank and starting up, the narwal becomes angry from time to time and will say "fill clean water"... even though the tank is full and properly installed. My wife has found a temporary fix: using a baby medicine syringe to inject water into the base station clean water tank connection point. Doing this 3 or 4 times seems to clear up the issue... but a few days later same fault occurs. Anyone know of a root cause or complete fix?

Some things I have tried:

Cleaned both waste water and clean water tank thoroughly

Small pipe cleaner run through of all water lines to verify no obstructions

Thorough cleaning and maintenance of vacuum robot

This close to tearing the base station apart and doing a thorough cleaning.... when the wife isn't looking🫣

Miele Vacuum Repair: Running only on the lowest setting

My Miele vacuum, ECOTEQ PLUS only runs on the lowest setting, which means there is not much power when sucking up dirt. The buttons which allow me to increase suction don't respond when I press them. Can anyone help me what to do? I would like to avoid calling out a Miele expert as it might be expensive and difficult living in the countryside in Mid Wales.

So I just got my robot vacuum back after lending it to my brother.

Turned out it stopped working a while ago.

When I got it back I started to diagnose it.

The first thing I noticed was, when it's docked in the charginstation, it turns on and I can adopt it into the smart things app. The battery read 0% and no matter how long it charges it wouldn't go up.

So I started by disassembling the battery down to its individual cells. Turned out 5 out if 6 cells were completely dead (absolute 0 volts).

So I ordered some new cells and put the battery back together. The battery now shows 21,7 volts. But it still doesn't want to run outside the chargingstation.

When I use a multimeter on the battery, while it's connected to the chargingstation it shows about 25 volts on d+ to d- (the plugs from the vacuum to the PCB on the battery). And still 21,7 volts on b+ to b- (the spot welded tin to the battery). It has now charged for about 2 hours and it's still about 37% charged (so not getting charged).

I've tried to put the PCB under an thermal camera to see if anything gets hot, but it doesn't. Even with it plugged into the chargingstation, without the chargingstation or it disconnected from the robot. I've also tried to connect 21 volts 1 a with a powersupply connected both on d+ to d- and on b+ to b-, yet nothing gets hot.

Anyone have any idea on how I could fix this?

I'm pretty new to this stuff, but I do watch some youtubers like NorthridgeFix and TronicFix so I have some general idea.

Should I disconnect the cells again and maybe try injecting voltage over some of the chips on the PCB or check the resistance on some of the caps? If so i would love some guidence. I don't have a chip programmer yet, but I will order one sooner or later, if needed.
