Shark Flex DuoClean: Vacuumed contents falling back out on switching the vacuum off.

This is the exact same thing that is happening with our Shark Duo! Her filters are clean, I removed any debris and hair wrapped around the brush roll, cleared out compacted dirt in between the small grooves of brush roll teeth, did not see any physical cracks or blockages inside of the vacuum tubes. Would someone more experienced please share how to inspect her vacuum belts and seals for damage?

We LOVE our Zoom-Zoom (yes, we names the vacuum 🤷🏻‍♀️), she has treated us well for years and I don’t want to set her on the curb without giving 100% to fix her first. All help appreciated. 🙏

i bought this vacuum https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DR8NJMCJ?ref... ECOVACS DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI Robot Vacuum 1 year ago.

recently the main brush motor stopped spinning so i opened it up to replace the motor. i have now bought 3 different replacement motors that say they are for the T8 or 8x. but none of them fit correctly. i have searched like crazy but can not for the life of my find my motor anywhere online. (pictures below) am i crazy? are these no longer in production? is one of the other motors supposed to fit even though the L shape is wrong? your wisdom is appreciated.

ok so with some inspiration from oldturkey03 i think im close. im going to walk through what i did if anyone else is ballzie enough to try this.

so i decided i was going to transfer the old L drive shaft to the new motor. i started by unclipping the snaps around the perimeter (picture1).

once inside i cleaned all the gears as they were very full of dirty grease (picture2).

i then removed the two screws on the left side of the image (picture3) (this is where the motor attaches) and screwed in the new motor.

but as i put it back together i realized that the gear attached to the new motor was beveled to the left but all the old gears were beveled to the right! so i pried the motor gear off of the old motor and transferred it to the new one. (be careful when prying off it toke a lot of force and mine ended up half way across the room in my white shag carpet. much cussing ensued.)

ive got all the pieces together and clean now i guess the last thing i need is to figure out what kind of lubricant to use on the gears. any ideas?

I've had it for nearly 2 years. The problem occurs when I press the trigger—it runs for a few seconds and then stops (with its signature "wooump" sound). It repeats this 2-3 times before eventually working. However, now I can't get it to run for longer than a few seconds, even after several tries.

I’ve changed the filter and cleaned everything I can access. In some forums, I’ve read that it might be an issue with the "main body," (whatever that means) while others suggest it could just be a cracked trigger, which should be an easy fix.

Dyson Vacuum: Red lever will not pull up so I can empty/replace canister

I cannot empty my V8 canister because the red lever will not budge will I try to pull it up. Dyson is sending me a new canister, but have no idea how I can change it because you have to pull the red lever to release the current one.

Dyson V8 Absolute: bin/canister will not open no matter how hard we pull

I cannot open the bin/canister of my Dyson V8 Absolute to empty the contents. The trigger does not budge. We tried the little red latch on the bottom of the bin/canister but it’s blocked. We cannot detach the canister as the top red trigger is blocked. I bought it in June last year so still under guarnatee. Dyson told me to send it to them, which I am reluctant to do.

Any ideas how to open it without destroying it? It’s been a week of pulling the trigger so really fed up at this point.
