私のPS4は2日前から動かなくなりました。3種類のHDMIケーブル、2台のテレビを試しましたが、まだ同じ状態です。セーフモードを起動していませんが、テレビはプレイステーションに接続されていることを認識しています。コントローラーに接続すると、ヘッドフォンからサウンドが出ています。ライトバーは正常に起動していることを示しています。(青いライトの後に白いライト)

My ps4 hasn't been working for two days. I have tried 3 different HDMI cables, two tv's and it still wont work. Safe mode isn't coming up but my tv does recognize its connected to a playstation. Their is also sound coming through my headphones when connected to my controller. The light shows itstarted properly (blue light then white light). what should I do?

When I was living in the UK, I bought a PS4. I am now back living in the USA again, and wanted to play some DVD movies I bought here. When I insert the disc, it will not play because of a region lock. Blu-rays play no problem. I have read that when you put in a DVD, there is a prompt to change the region code, and you can change this up to 4 times. This prompt never appears for me. It just gives me an error code CE-35489-9. PlayStation support says it cannot be changed, which is ridiculous to me, but whatever. Is this a hardware issue or something that can actually be bypassed? I am trying to decide whether to just buy a DVD player or take the PS4 to someone who can help me change the region. As I said, Blu-ray plays fine. Both types were bought here in the US, so I don't understand why the Blu-ray plays but the DVD won't.

It's not displaying video. At the yellow point, a resistor has fallen out, and at the red point, there's a very similar resistor that shows continuity. I tried to repair it myself; the console powers on but there's no video output. If I leave the PS2 to HDMI adapter connected, for some reason the console's light stays on even without the power cable.

Hi, i am facing a problem with my PS4 i.e. while playing game PS4 stop receiving commands from the controller and then it executes all the commands at once which looks like game play is working on its own.

Reason why i am suspecting that the problem is with PS4 bluetooth reception is that i have faced the same issue with two separate controllers where as both the controllers are working perfectly fine on an other PS4.

PlayStation 3: PS3 Has Broken Blu Ray Drive, it wont connect due to a roken ZIF clip.

My BC Ps3 launch day drive wont connect to the console. The ZIF clip to hold the ribbon cable broke. No matter how many times I try to get something to sit on it/weigh it down/lay it in the connectors nothing has worked. Could it be a ribbon cable issue or do I have to replace the whole ZIF connector?

My question is are the parts exactly the same? I do have a CUH-1115A ps4 and the fasttech website seems to have the correct part in stock. From the pictures on fasttech.com, I really can't tell.

On fasttech.com, the back of the part, where the lan and hdmi plug in, it doesn't look slanted in the pictures.

I'm 99.9% sure that this is the correct part. The only reason I'd like to replace the part is because heat from the hardware has caused the plastic to break apart.

Hello, I have a PS4 Pro CUH 7016B, and it has some strange issues. When I got the PS4, it would turn off after some time while playing demanding games, and it also had an overheating warning, so I thought new thermal paste would solve it. I used Arctic MX-6, and I am sure I applied it correctly, as I have done this many times. After reassembling the console, it was still not that quiet, but as far as I know, this is normal for Pros. The next day, I tried testing it further to ensure it was working properly, and in the middle of the game, it beeped three times and turned off. The weird thing is that the fans were not even at max speed, so I am assuming overheating is not an issue. I did not receive any overheating warnings. Sometimes it would also turn off without even beeping. To be completely sure, I reapplied the thermal paste, but that did not change anything. Then I tried testing the PSU with a multimeter, and it was showing 11.86 volts, so that should be okay. The next thing I tried was replacing the HDD, but after doing so, the blue light would flash once before the console turned off. After trying to power it on a few more times, it turned on, but now all I see is a black image, and that's it. I tried putting the old HDD back in, but nothing changed. The same thing happened in safe mode. I also tried cleaning the HDMI cord, using different TVs and displays, and using a different HDMI cable, all with no success. Does anybody know why this is happening? Maybe my APU is dead?

Edit: i should have clarified this before but it does actually seem to enter safe mode because the light turns white.

So I got a PlayStation3 Slim model CECH-2004A, PAL 120, I guess; and when I press the power button, green light, it beeps three times and then red blinking light. Is it the famous Yellow Light Of Death? What can I do? (weird fact: i checked the HDD and it said it was 40GB, is it possible?)

PlayStation 5 Slim: Fixing the vertical stand screw mount of the PS5 CFI-2115

I accidentally stripped the screw whole of my PS5 where the vertical stand is supposed to go, and I’m trying to use these Mr. Grip screw hole repair kits to fix it. However, I can’t get the strips to stay in without falling into the console and needing to be shaken out. Is this the best option for fixing it? Or is there something else that might need to be used instead?

Sony TV Console: PS3 Slim Power Button Connector Ripped Off - Need Help Reconstructing

Hi everyone,

I’m in a bit of a tough spot with my PS3 Slim CECH-3004A.

While disassembling it for a thermal paste change, I accidentally pulled the power ribbon cable connector by the head instead of releasing it. This resulted in the entire connector ripping off the motherboard, taking some of the solder pads with it.

From what I can observe, the PCB seems to have a standard 2-layer traces on the surface, and I can’t see any obvious internal layers for these specific traces. I’ve tried to trace them, but I’m struggling to find where they lead to create jumpers.

Could you please help me with the following?

Does anyone have a schematic or a high-resolution trace map for the power button connector area (specifically for the Slim model)?
Are there any recommended videos or guides on reconstructing lifted pads or where to bridge (jumper) the connections for this specific part?
Confirming if I only need to worry about surface traces or if there are via-connections I might have missed.

I have some soldering experience but reconstructing pads is new to me. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I got a PS3 2001a and wanted to play some older titles, i did the two things to organize the files and fix corrupted ones however only certain games work, God of war, gta4, and dmc4 all work, but for instance twisted metal, war on Cybertron they will boot up, update fine, but they will get into the first black screen after the company logos and just show the spinning loading badges infinitely, I don't know what to do

I have a SCPH-1001 model PS1 with a PU-8 board (later model). I have not been able to find a schematic for this version. The problem is the spindle motor is not spinning. The laser moves back and forth on the rails fine and attempts to focus when power is applied but the spindle does not move. I have used a 9V battery and the spindle motor spins up fine that way. I believe it is the IC722 chip but I’m not entirely sure. anyone have a schematic or suggestion for this board?

One night I wanted to install a game on my ps4 and I left it to install the next day o found my ps4 off and when I turned it on the screen was black and white like old movies.i turned it off and let it sit for 10 minutes or so and turned it on and the same, changed the hdmi port and the same problem.but when I connect it to another tv it works.but I dont know if I can do something to use my old tv or I need to give up on it and get it repaired.
