The chromebook 2 model I’m using has been depreciated for about 2 years now by google. It is still functional and i really do enjoy using it, and would like to use it to learn more about computing and coding in general so I’m putting myself to the project of removing the existing OS from the device and replacing it with a different OS, preferably Linux. I understand I could potentially destroy this device, that’s not an issue. I just would like to do it correctly, or as informationally beneficial as possible. I have seen a previous walk-through which seemed to be done using a Chromebook 3. I don’t know if the hardware setup is the same, and so I was hoping to come to the forums for more advice.
