Samsung Galaxy S II: Why do callers hear an echo during phone calls?

Hi!

Everyone who calls me says they can hear a bad echo of their voice as they speak, but everything sounds normal on my end.

I looked on some forums and some users blame the phone case for the echo. I took the case off and the echo didn't go away. Other users have tried sending their phone in for repairs and/or complete a factory reset with no luck. Is there anything else I can try?

After replacing the screen assembly, this error is happening. The phone will turn on, but it won't charge. The above message comes up. This is the second time this has happened after replacing the screen. Please help. What am I doing wrong, and how can I fix it?

My iPod Touch 4th generation is less than a week old and I haven't done anything to damage it, but after using it for a few hours straight it died. There was plenty of battery life left and even after charging it still wont turn on. Does anyone know what;s wrong? Any ideas how to fix it?

iPhone 5s: Restore error 9 and 14 after fixing iPhone screen. What to do?

My iPhone 5s screen cracked, so I replaced the screen. When I replaced the screen the battery wouldn't charge, so I turned the phone off. When I turned it back on again, it was stuck on the Apple logo. I then restored it—but in the middle of the restore, the phone stopped working. Now the phone is stuck on the "connect to iTunes" error and when I try to restore it, I get mostly error 9. I tried all my computers (2 Macs, and a PC) and all the USB hubs that they have. What do I do? Thanks.

Since the screen was a third party, all I did was was restore the iPhone with the screen disconnected. Once it shows that the restore finished on my computer, I reconnected the screen and finished the setup.

iPad Air: solution to phantom/ghost touches ipad air

After trying multiple digitizers thinking they were defective, a few beers and some deep thought, I have found the solution to the problems we have been having associated with digitizer replacement on iPad Airs. I do not know if this works with other devices with ghost touching, but I have a good feeling it will. I wont waste your time with how I came to this solution, because I know you are reading this probably freaking out trying to figure out how to fix it. So read on.

What you need: kapton tape - i used this:

1/4" is a good thickness, you might want to try something a tiny bit thinner - 1/8 would be ideal

Tape around the digitizer "wires"? on the edge. For some reason, there are grounding issues with some digitizers. I dont know if its because they dont go through the same quality control as apple parts, and the warping of the glass may be at fault, or what. Whats even more strange is some digitzers do it, some dont. (leading me to believe they may be touching the frame where they are not supposed to). Some have suggested the cables were pinched, but i had purposely pinched the cables and it didnt cause the issues, it just made the glass pop up and not seat correctly. I have included a pic for reference. Pass it along.

sorry for the crap pics but you get the idea. I will tape all of my digitizers from here out.

I dropped my S3 in the toilet. I tried the rice trick; it did not work. I took it apart and tried to clean out any water corrosion. After i did that, it worked... but there was a slight purple screen discoloration. I sent it into Samsung and they ruled that it was beyond repair because of a pad that had lifted on the IF connector. When they sent it back, the screen no longer worked. It charges fine and turns on. I can hear the unlock screen when I touch it, but the screen is completely black. What can I do to fix this, if possible?

iPhone 6 Plus: iPhone isn't recognized by computer as a device?

My iPhone 6 plus will not be recognized as a device in my PC. I cannot sync to anything to add music or any kind of iTunes media that isn't instantly downloaded to my iPhone.

My phone will charge but my PC won't give a prompt saying a device is plugged in. This is not an issue with drivers because I have troubleshooted already and I have tried a different cord and even a different PC.

Any suggestions would be helpful, cheers.

iPhone 4S: Black Screen and lock button not working... What should I do?

Hello!

Today my iPhone's screen just turned off and doesn't seem to work. I believe it's a software problem, so I thought the best idea would be to force a reboot (you know, holding the lock and home buttons at the same time). However, I don't have a lock button, since it has been broken for some months now.

What can I do? Any tips on how to drain the battery of the iPhone as quickly as possible? I have started to send Messages from my Mac because that way it will be forced to emit the notification, but this could take hours.
