I replaced the main board and it looks to be cooling better now, but the display is still dead.

To replace the interior display and control board (like in the pic), is this just held on by some clips, so I just need to take a spudger to it from the top to pop it out? I'd just prefer not to break something in the process, and there aren't any exposed fasteners.

My refrigerator is a Frigidaire model # FFTR2021TS5. It is a top freezer/bottom fridge combo. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed the fridge being warmer than usual but just didn’t have time to immediately deal with it.

After some googling, I pulled off the back wall to the freezer and saw that that the air channel/air divertor leading from the cooling system to the fridge below was stuffed with ice. I got rid ice blockage which created the space for cold air to travel down and was hoping this would be the ultimate fix. After re-installing the back wall and putting everything back into the freezer, I felt the center vent in the fridge where air is supposed to travel down and escape through the vents but the air flow wasn’t nearly as significant as I hoped. I closed the fridge for a day to hope time would allow cold air to gather. The fridge was/is colder but not to the degree I thought it would be, especially since I adjusted the temperature colder than the “recommended” setting.

Today (about one week after trouble shooting), I noticed the fridge warmer yet again. Removing the back wall to the freezer, the air divertor was once again blocked with ice. However one difference is the cooling fins had ice on them whereas last week they did not. I don’t know if this means anything.

So, the freezer definitely works - All the food is still frozen, I can hear the motor run and there is still an audible sound when I open the freezer door. Can anyone please give advice on what might be happening here? What do you think I need to replace? Do I need to check anther area of the fridge for a blockage? Do you see anything concerning from the pictures of the back wall I posted? This fridge was just over $500 and I am hoping to avoid spending 1/3rd of the cost or more to call someone out to repair it.

Recently it stopped making ice again. Took it back apart, Defrost area was not frozen over. Some slight frost on the condenser tubes, but nothing else. Melted it all, also blew the air onto the feed line port (where it comes into cabinet). This resolved the issue for a couple days.

No ice again, did some checking and found that the water inlet assembly could be going out, letting water drip, which was freezing up. Replaced this, and at same time cleaned all the dust off the coils and such. Also replaced both the filter in basement (in line with feed) and the one in fridge. This worked for several weeks, but yesterday no ice again.

I'm going to check for iced over again, but where else should I look?

Went through every diagnostic I can find online to check on the front panel and I can set the freezer to 0 and the refrigerator to 38, but within a few seconds the desired temperatures disappear and the internal temps for both sides come up as 70 and 73, respectively.

Any ideas at all? I'm not a appliance technician, just a farmer/rancher/teacher with a Master's degree and a trailer load of common sense, so it's not like I'm new to fixing things. Any help would be appreciated.

I recently bought a brand new Panasonic No Frost Inverter refrigerator (NR-BP242VS).

I plugged it in around 11:00 AM and waited about 3 hours before putting containers of water in the freezer to make ice. The refrigerator was set to 5, and the airflow control was set to Normal.

Later, after 10 hours, when I checked one of the containers on the second freezer shelf, I noticed that a small amount of ice/frost had formed on the bottom floor of the freezer compartment. The frost/ice is only on part of the freezer floor and not near the door. But the first layer or tray doesn't have any ice buildup.

Since this is a No Frost refrigerator, I'm wondering if this is normal during the first day of operation while the refrigerator is cooling down, or if it's something I should be concerned about. I also checked the water tray/container at the back of the refrigerator, where I thought defrost water would collect, but it has no water in it.

Has anyone with a Panasonic No Frost Inverter refrigerator experienced this when their unit was brand new? Did the frost/ice disappear on its own after a day or two?

Anyone out there who can help? When ever my ice tray is filling water also is also coming out of the water dispenser on the front of the fridge. It only happens when my ice tray dumps and refills. I changed out water valve in the back os the fridge and it didn't solve the issue. Model # LFX31925ST /02

Freezer below fridge

There is no panel on the back to access a board. There is only a cardboard cover at the bottom back to see compressor and fan. I have removed the control panel top, back, inside of fridge and there is no board there. I have looked at the skimatic in the literature that came with the fridge and there is no mention of a control board. Did not see my model in your list of GE refrigerators. I have replaced thermostat in freezer and fridge, replaced defrost fan in freezer. Replaced timer behind temp controller in fridge.

Have I missed anything? Except control board that I can’t find? Help!

My Whirlpool refrigerator is model side by side "S27DG RWW3 DF". Recently, there has been a ticking sound coming from the temperature indicator side. What could be the problem?

Also, when I want to activate the ice maker, it keeps turning on and off. This does not happen in the ice crusher mode, but in the full ice mode, the circuit turns on and off.
