iPhone 5: iPhone 5 stuck on recovery mode error (9).

My iPhone 5 will not restore, shows a strange graphic under restore (See video), and shows "the iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9)," and goes back to restore mode. The phone has never been opened and no parts were replaced before this issue.

TinyUmbrella was no good, resetting hosts file to default was no good, DFU mode is a no go... It seems like a hardware issue, and I could really use some tips, especially in component-level repair.

iPhone 5s: Back Camera and LED/Flash not working, Wifi is extremely weak.

When I open the camera app, front camera works fine but when I switch to the back camera the display goes black. In the top left corner it shows the following message, "Flash is Disabled - The iPhone needs to cool down before you can use the flash." But the phones temperature feels normal. Also the Wifi signal is very weak and it doesn't pick up all the networks around me. I need to sit right next to the router in order to pick up Wifi and connect, but even then, the signal is still very slow. I bought another 5s (with a working camera) for parts and I put the new camera and LED into my phone, but its still showing the same messages. And I also put in a new Power/Volume ribbon cable in order to fix the Wifi. I had a problem with my power button but it was fixed after that swap, but the Wifi, back Camera and LED problems still persist. At this point I'm starting to think that the problem is in the logic-board but I'm not 100% sure. Please let me know the easiest possible fix for this, whether its replacing the logic-board or replacing the components on the logic board. Thank you in advance for your answers!

Hello there

I dropped my iPhone 5s and now half the screen has white thick lines going through it, I can't press over it, I can only use the right side of the screen. What should I buy to fix it? There must be a problem with LCD? Screen is not cracked though.

iPhone 5c: Touch screen problems after screen replacement

I have been replacing screens on iphones for quite some time now. The iphone 5c and 5s are a different animal. The last few that I've done have me puzzled. It seems as if once I put them back together, the touch response is all over the place. After a hard reset they work for a while and then when you go to touch an icon, another app may open and not the one you touched. I've swapped out the screen with a different one and it does the same thing. Is there some sort of calibration to do on these new phones? It's getting to the point that I'm going to turn down customers that bring them in to be fixed.

Suddenly, after 1 year and 6 months since its purchase, my phone stopped working properly. I was pressing the power off button to unlock the screen, but it didn't work...after a while it opened by its own and I was able to use it properly but I couldn't lock it again!

After that, the phone started rebooting without stop!

I managed to reset it by the settings but it didn't get any better.

Battery is charging properly and the percentage of it is the right one.

Is there anything I can do?

Can you make any guess what's going wrong? Is it fixable or I should start mourning on my Huawei?

ZTE ZMax: screen of zte zmax screen won't operate

My zte zmax had fell in water. I put it in rice for the water damage to be resolved. Everything works just fine on the phone except I cannot touch my screen for it to do anything. I don't have a lot of money to fix this. What do I need to do to fix this in a cheap way?

HTC One Mini: Front glass broken, do I need Glass, LCD or Digitizer?

HTC One Mini dropped onto stone floor, front glass is cracked.

Touch functionality still works and the image seems fine behind the broken glass parts.

Now I've asked some online stores in my country about parts, and they said that I would need to replace the whole front (LCD+Digitizer+Front Frame) and offers me a package deal. To me this seems like more than I would need?

I figured it's only the front glass which is broken and needs to be replaced?

So how can I be sure of exactly what parts needs to be replaced? What parts would I need considering that the touch and image is seemingly fine?

Samsung Galaxy Note II: How do I put my phone back to its original configuration

Is there a way to put my note 2 back to its original configuration and un do all the factory updates? Resetting the phone to factory does not remove the unwanted features.

With every update my phone becomes more and more like the hated i phone.

I considered the note 2 almost perfect untill the factory updates now i don't really like it

Hi all,

The problem I'm having with my iPhone is that I'm not able to listen to music anymore. My phone does play sounds, but only when it is docked or when my earphones are plugged in.

It does NOT work without earphones, and the volume slider does not show up when playing music.

However, it DOES make sounds when my alarm goes off or when I'm getting called. Ringtones work fine too.

Anyone know what could be the issue?

ZTE ZMax: Why did the home button and bottom of screen stop working?

A few weeks ago the three buttons (home, back, menu) stopped working out of nowhere. Literally my phone died and when I turned it back on after charging, the buttons no longer worked. I was able to download an app so that I didn't have to worry about it. Now the bottom portion of my screen no longer works. I believe the screen is dying from the bottom up and I don't know why. Please help.
