Dell XPS 15 9550: Windows 10 says password is incorrect when it wakes up from Sleep

This morning, I turned on my laptop and entered my password to sign in to Windows 10. Everything was normal as usual. In the noon, I put the laptop to sleep and then I left. After an hour, I resumed it, but Windows 10 said my password is incorrect. I checked my password several times and I’m quite certain it is correct, but the Windows 10 keeps saying the password is incorrect. I tried to restart Windows 10, but it still did not work. Why is this? How can I sign back to my Windows 10 now?

for the past few days, when i wake up my computer from sleep and hibernation mode it'll freeze and the only way tp get it to work is to hold the power button.

just for your information, i recently updated some drivers but i will try to delete the new power management driver and go back to the old one

Edit: i cannot roll down battery driver for some reason

Asus Laptop: How do I fix my internet connection?

My Asus laptop is not connecting properly to the internet. It is connected to a network, but when I open Internet Explorer, nothing pops up. It doesn't even tell me it can't display the page, it's just a blank screen. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting to my home network- didn't work. Then I tried turning it off and on again—didn't work. Finally, I turned off my router for about a minute and turned it back on—my internet explorer is still a blank screen. My Norton subscription just expired yesterday, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my internet problem—even though the problem began to occur on the day of expiration. Any help you can provide me would be great.

Asus Laptop: Need help! My Asus laptop won't show available wifi networks?

Hey! My Asus laptop X553M is running on windows 10! I powered it up today and it won't show any available wifi networks, just a symbol for an Ethernet cable with a red "x" on the bottom of the screen. I've tried everything from resetting my network connections but nothing is working and I need the wifi up and running as soon as possible! Unsure if I should buy a wireless adapter to fix this problem (even though connecting to wifi has worked for over a year on this laptop). Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!

Microsoft Surface Book: I can't turn my surface book on

I used the surface book one evening and put it to sleep with the power adapter connected. The next morning I was unable to turn it back on again.

The detach button on the keyboard is constantly lit red and I can't detach the tablet from the keyboard.

I tried the one button and two button methods described by Microsoft to reset the device without success.

The device appears dead if it was not for the red detach light.

Is there another way to hard reset the device or to make it reboot?

Samsung Chromebook Series 3: Is it possible to replace the screen?

My chromebook screen is broken, it's got a massive black spot (1" across) and the screen is covered in random lines. I can only assume it took a hit but the case is undamaged. Any idea if it would be possible to replace, and if so where I could get the replacement screen?

Acer Aspire One ZG5: Why did my sound suddenly stop working?

A few days ago, I tried to play some videos on my Acer Aspire One ZG5 laptop. However, the sound simply is not present. I tried everything. I checked to see that it was unmuted. Asus EeeBook X205TA: How do I reset my BIOS password on newer ASUS laptops?

I was playing around with the BIOS settings and somehow I fat fingered the password not once, but twice.. and now I'm locked out of the computer entirely. I was trying to figure out what the difference was between the "User" password, and the "Administrator" password - and the difference is that "User" won't allow the system to boot at all without that password.

I've tried pulling the main power from the tiny little motherboard, and this appears to make no difference with these newer laptops which don't have specific bios batteries to remove. Any suggestions?

Lenovo IdeaPad U350: Why is my laptop randomly shutting itself off?

Lately my IdeaPad U350 has been shutting itself down without any prompt or notification. It's not the normal Windows shutdown, either. The screen just goes black and it turns off immediately. Sometimes it will work for an hour before this happens, and sometimes less. I noticed that if I let it sit off for a while between shutdowns, it will last a bit longer. Any help is appreciated.

Acer Aspire: No Bootable Device Found

I have an Acer Aspire V3-371 Series laptop here and it can't boot as it cannot find any Bootable device. I originally tried to reinstall Windows, that didn't work. So I tested the original HDD. It was defect to some degree. So I changed it out for a new one and installed Windows again. The PC worked! But just for a week or so before the exact same problem occurred again... Now I'm out of ideas what it could be.

ASUS F550: Keyboard Backlight not working.

On my Asus FX550VX I cannot turn on the keyboard backlight. The fn+F4 or the fn+F3 does not turn it on or off. fn+F3 opens the outlook mail and the fn+F4 opens my browser. How do I turn on the keyboard backlight?

I help out at the school computer lab and we have about 70 chrome books. I would say at least ten of them are suffering from this problem. To describe the problem in further detail when you click the left or the right button on the track pad the buttons dont pop back up and there is no click it just sags down when you click it and sags back up once you have let go
