for me, even though i’ve checked that everything is plugged in correctly, and after installing my BRAND new power supply, i turn my pc on and i get nothing but “no signal” on my screen. does anybody know an explanation to this?

Asus Zenbook 13 UX363EA: Why is it saying invalid password whenever I enter my new/old password

My laptop is not necessarily broken. But it’s the BIOS password. I tried changing it, where it said i should enter old password i entered it then where it said I should put a new password I left it blank then saved, it allowed me to save then took me back to the login page where I tried to just leave it blank and press enter it said “invalid password”. How do I fix this?

Acer Laptop: Case screw cannot be tightened

The case screw on the bottom of my Acer Swift 3 -SF315-52 is loose & the corner of the case separates each time I open the screen to view. I tried tightening it but the screw does not "catch" and it continues to resolve. How can this be correted?

Acer Aspire 3 Series: Repeated “Stop running this script?” pop-ups,malware or browser issue?

My laptop keeps showing repeated pop-ups saying ‘Stop running this script?’ from a suspicious domain like snconor.vg, and the pop-ups stack up until the browser/laptop becomes very slow.

I suspect it might be adware, a browser hijacker, or malware.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

What is usually the main cause of this?
Could it come from browser notifications, extensions, or an actual virus?
What are the most effective steps to completely remove it?
Is resetting the browser and running an antivirus scan enough, or would reinstalling Windows be recommended?

Loosen hinge of my dell laptop made it very hard to open or pull up the screen to its vertical position.

If forced to open the screen normally, removes the side screen covers out as well.

Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 2: ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 won’t turn on after complete battery discharge

My ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 suddenly shut down while showing around 20% battery. Since then it won’t turn on at all — the power button is completely unresponsive.

What I’ve already tried:

• Held power button for 10, 30 and 60 seconds with and without charger

• Disconnected the main battery cable and waited 2+ minutes

• Disconnected the CMOS/RTC battery and waited 2+ minutes

• Disconnected both batteries simultaneously, held power button for 30 seconds to drain capacitors, then reconnected

• Removed and reseated RAM, cleaned contacts

• Tried booting with RAM removed

• Tried booting on AC power only with main battery disconnected

What still works:

• Charging LED turns on and changes from red to white (battery charges normally)

• ThinkPad logo LED lights up

• Power button LED lights up

• Coil whine noise when charger is connected

The motherboard appears to be receiving power normally. No visible burn marks on the board. I have a multimeter and the board is currently open. I found a replacement IO board (NS-D012) for R$88 (~$15 USD) but want to confirm if that’s the likely culprit before purchasing.

the audio card is choking like a 8 month old kid eating toys, the audio is flashing when it is medium, low: ok. medium: flashy. loud: not plays

one time i played something loud, not to worry, i didn't ripped my ears, it repeated 10 times & then suddenly is muted, it IS unmuted but it dosen't play, low volume: ok. medium volume: flash-audioing. high volume: gone forever
