How strong is the adhesive on the 7T back glass? ive bought the part i need, just waiting on it.. just wondering if a heat gun would help? or can i use a hair dryer

OnePlus 7T: Dropped my phone and screen failed.

Brief summary of what happened:

Dropped phone from hip-level onto hardwood floor. I noticed a small purple splotch on the phone that obscured part of the screen. This splotch slowly grew until it covered the whole screen in a somewhat see through purple color. The following morning the phone screen was a solid black. Still responds with the "powering on" vibration when I press the power button.

Any idea on what the problem is and how it can be fixed? Thank you.

OnePlus 7T: Can't remove screen, even with heat gun

I ordered a replacement screen from ifixit for my OnePlus 7t. I got the back glass off with no problem. I've tried probably 5 times now to remove the screen but it won't budge even a tiny bit to let me wedge a plastic card in. I'm using a suction cup to pull on the screen. I'm heating it with a heat gun for about a minute each time. I've tried setting it at both around 180 degrees F (82 C) and 300 F (149 C). Is there some trick I'm missing?

Does anyone know of a reputable dealer for authentic OnePlus parts? I’ve looked all over the web and everything that looks somewhat promising is sketchy at best. All I need is a screen replacement, without the frame, but I would rather not get scammed out of this as its time sensitive for my line of work.

I am trying to fix an OnePlus 7t that for some reason does not have Wifi or Bluetooth capabilities. Settings crash when I attempt to use either. I have tried to go through OnePlus, but all of their troubleshooting methods have failed. I sent it out for repairs, but OnePlus quoted me for parts that were not faulty so I’ve had no luck there either.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I can’t tell if its a physical issue, or if it’s a bug.

OnePlus 7T: Apps' buttons are not responding

Recently my OnePlus phone have a weird issue: some buttons inside apps like the update/uninstall buttons inside google play app aren't responding.

I tried clearing the apps cache, resetting their settings and restarting my phone, but none of those attempts succeeded. Restarting my phone sometimes make the buttons work for one usage or two, but nothing more than that.

The glass panel of the back of my phone has started separating from the phone at one corner. It doesn't seem to be causing issue currently other than driving me crazy. I would like to fix it. How would i go about doing this?

As people may be aware, the 7T seems to be shipped with a significant amount of of the first few batches having weird green, blue and purple tints on various places on the screen (especially noticeable on lower brightness settings).

I was wondering if there would be any ways of fixing this?

Has this ever occurred in the past?

Can we fix this issue ourselves? I would love to fix this issue myself someday because I hate sending my phone out to other places and i plan to tear it open next year anyways.

A few drops of water got inside my phone's charging port and unknowingly I charged my phone after that but nothing happened , no burn marks and even my warp charge is performing great but should I be worried about it being damaged in future?

As per Service center my power ic is damaged but service center will not repair it though they can change whole mother board , i would like to know do you do it. if yes how much will it cost. but some time i can acesse boot screen by volume and power key combination so i dont think it power ic issue .just in case you would like it contact me .
