Nintendo Switch Lite: My switch lite wont recognize button presses

So i just did a full shell mod and screen replacement on my switch lite and ever since I have these problems with the buttons, thumbsticks, and touchscreen not registering my presses and movements I replaced the ribbon cable to the right daughter board thinking it was the problem and I have seated and reseated all of the ribbon cables, put two different pairs of joysticks. And its really hit and miss as to when it does it but it wont let me do multiple presses making it to where I cant unlock my device. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do I have all the electronics repair tools needed to fix most things

Nintendo Switch Lite: Nintendo Switch Lite has light bleeding at the top of screen

I just bought a switch lite off of marketplace. There is a faint light outline around the border of my Switch Lite screen. The console works perfectly otherwise, and it hasn't been dropped. Is this normal for these handhelds, or is there a way to fix it without replacing the whole screen, or I just need to reseat it?

Nintendo Switch Lite: Help identifying FPC connector ribbon

Hello everyone!

I recently started my soldering journey and decided to step up buying a faulty NS Lite.

The assessment from the vendor was no power, no charge, no LCD. I tried soft reseting and suddenly I was getting weak power draw instead of 0.

After some time it was able to reach 15V, 0,46A and 6,94W. The battery is at 4.1V so it looks healthy.

Upon eye inspection I noticed that the 29 pin FPC connector that sits right above the battery connector was missing the white cover that holds the cable in place. Under the microscope I noticed some damage to the FPC connector pins inside it. Checking the ribbon cable confirmed this since I could see some lifted traces in the cable due to the connector.

I have identified that I need the 29 pin FPC connector but I am having trouble identifying what ribbon cable is this. I am seeing everywhere daughterboard, Left pad and these names and I feel lost. Would appreciate some directions <3

Nintendo Switch Lite: How to remove joystick caps

I have ordered new joysticks for my lite, but wanted to know if it was possible to remove the original joystick caps?

I have a pokemon edition lite with the non standard joystick colors and they are still in mint condition (minus drift). So was hoping to move them to the new joysticks.

Update (03/26/23)

No amount of pressure let the cap come off.
Seeing as the drift had already killed the joystick I decided to tear it down.
It appears that Nintendo has the stick and cap molded as a single unit in production, so its not possible to get the cap off to swap onto the new Guli sticks.

At best I might be able to get just the rubber cover off, but no idea if that would fit the Guli caps.
I am happy to have my sticks working again, but also sad that I am losing the unique coloring.
