Excuse me for asking a question for the first time.

The current situation is that a 'green band' appears at the bottom of the screen.

When I lightly press the bottom part, the green band appears, possibly due to the pressure.

Also, for some reason, restarting fixes it.

I don't know if this is a hardware or software issue!

I would appreciate your response.

Nintendo Wii U GamePad: Why do I have an unstable connection with the new battery replacement?

I have a black Wii U with a Wii U GamePad, model WUP-010 (EUR). The battery is significantly deteriorated due to use, so I purchased a new 3,600 mAh battery (IF207-041-3) (WUP-001).

After installing the new battery and completing the calibration charge cycles, I tried playing The Wind Waker HD. However, an error screen appears from time to time and remains visible for a few seconds. It flashes on and off so quickly that I had to record the screen and pause the video in order to read the message.

The message says that the connection to the console has been lost and recommends charging the GamePad. It does not always appear at the same frequency: sometimes I can play for fifteen minutes without interruptions, while other times it appears over 20 times in five minutes.

I tested the old battery, and the message does not appear when I use it. Is there any solution?

Thank you.

Actualización (09/10/26)

Hello, everyone. I'm writing to share the latest news so it's on record to help more people.

I contacted iFixit support and received the following response:

We do apologize for the error message you are seeing with the Nintendo Wii U GamePad Battery you received from us. It sounds like there might be a loose connection, we kindly ask that you double check the connector to ensure it is fully seated. Also, be sure to not pull the connector by the cables, as this can cause a loose connection.

As this is an aftermarket battery, the message appearing may be the equivalent of newer devices stating that a "non-genuine part has been installed and will not charge properly" - which is a frequent occurrence with aftermarket batteries. They still function correctly though, despite the error messages. That is simply the device not recognizing the chip that is paired to the mother/logic board in the device that the OEM batteries contain.

That said, if you still wish for a refund, we can do that. Or, we can try a replacement to see if that will resolve the issue.

I've checked everything, and the battery doesn't seem to be damaged, sadly, the problem persists and is very annoying. Even though I'm tempted to try the other model, I've requested a refund and I am going to use the console plugged in with the charging cable. If this starts to become a problem, I'll do a research looking for the most compatible battery.

Nintendo 2DS: 2DS Black Screen while power on

So a few days ago, I left my 2DS on the sleep mode for a while and I might or might not drop it accidentally. I don't remember and found out later that when i push the power button to turn it on, the blue led lights and the screen is black,

not black like it was turn off but black we definitely see that it is turn on but won't show anything. (backlight working probably?)

I tried to hold the power 10 seconds and wait but the only image i can see is when I push the power button when it's on and it asks you if you are sure if you want to turn it off. From there, and from there only, I can push the home button and it shows the white screen telling you you're going to the home screen. but it is stuck there and won't go to the actual home screen.

I want to know what exactly is the problem here and if you know how to fix it i would be grateful.

Nintendo Wii: How do I fix my screen? It's green!

It started to load and then there was a blank green screen. The Wii was frozen. I had to unplug the power just to turn it back on and if I tried to play the game again, it would do the same thing.
