This is a 1,0 model original XBox using a Foxlink FTPS-0001 Rev B power supply.

I've been casually attempting to repair this XBox for a few months now and I think I finally found the culprit. One of the glue blobs on the power supply hiding underneath one of the heatsinks was rather discolored, and after cutting it open I found these two little guys at positions C5 and R6. The board itself was also discolored underneath. I can't find a schematic for the power supply so I'm asking here as a gut check.

C5 - This is the ceramic capacitor to the left, I believe this is the part that has failed as the pad on the bottom of the board showed some corrosion and started to lift. Testing on a multimeter shows no results. Markings lead me to believe the values are 2.2 nF, 1000V, +-20%.

R6 - This is the resistor to the right, whatever happened under the glue discolored it so the bands are not totally clear. Testing it returns 21,640ohm, 3V but that doesn't seem right so I'm assuming this then failed with the capacitor. My research says this should be 39ohm +-5%, but my eyes see red/black/brown/gold which would would put it at 200ohm +-5%. However, if it is red/brown/orange/gold then my testing was actually correct and put it at 21,000ohm +-5%. Really at a loss here.

Am I on the right track here and are any of my values correct? Is there anything else I should probably test on the supply while I'm at it?

Xbox Series X: On/Off Beep. Shorts around APU test points

I have an xbox series x that does not power on. It started as an HDMI repair with ripped traces and snowballed into something worse. I cannot get it to come on. I ordered a raspberrypi pico to flash this firmware (<ins>https://github.com/xboxoneresearch/PicoD...</ins>) and get the whatever POST code it was throwing.

The result was SMC (1): E006 [SMC_FATAL_CPUGFX] Low priority: VREG_PWRGPAB_CPUGFX_PWRGD missing/timout: Check shorts on V_DRAM1P8, V_SOC1P8, V_SOCPHY. U681, U7, U129, U57 and U480 drive this signal low when a fault is detected.

I checked those test points and got no shorts. I did get shorts on the V_GFXCORE, V_CPUCORE, V_MEMPHY, V_SOC test points though.

I am at a loss as to what could be the issue here. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

Xbox One X: Need help Identifying blown component on motherboard of Xbox One X

Looking for help identifying a component that looks like it had blown on my Xbox One X.
Background to my console is that it stopped displaying a signal 2 weeks ago. However, the console will power on. I have tried using different power cable, different HDMI cable, a different TV, and no success. Most symptoms, I have read, led me to believe the HDMI Retimer had failed, so I ordered a replacement chip to prep.

Yesterday was when I disassembled the console to prep for the work and that is when I discovered this component. It looks like it had blown at some point and might be why it wont display a signal.

However, I have no idea what this component is and I need help identifying what it is.

I have a macro shot of the chip, but its still hard to ID.

Its right next to the port for the front switch power button on the xbox. Here is a photo of another board of where I am talking about (circled in red):
