This tablet was previously cracked because it was stepped on. It's been about a year since, and it still works, however the screen is only halfway (literally) functional. The top half (everything above the crack) of the touchscreen is completely dead, and it seems to have suffered some kind of liquid damage because there are bubbles underneath the screen and the backlight seems to be heavily affected by this. When I powered it on previously, the backlight was normal, it's now dim in some places and unusually bright in others.

I tried to periodically clean the screen, but liquid kept coming out of the cracks and somehow ended up on the sides of the tablet. It is very sticky and I have no idea what it is.

Hi,

Pried the screen off and what I see is totally different from the picture in step 2.

It appears that I am looking at the backside of the battery.

The LCD is to the right, the left side shows the back side of the battery and the frame covering the battery.

My tablet’s screen is basically half broken like fully black with some cracks here and there. I don’t want to upset my father so how should I handle this. As I already stated, half of it is glitched as in broken while the other small spaces barely work.

My son has locked me completely out of my g pad lte. I do not remember the email or the pw used for it and it is also in safe mode. I have tried the hard reset and so on and it just wants to restart it. it never wants to bring up the reboot options. How can I get to reset this when it is not allowing it to happen as it is???

I am repairing an LG G Pad 10.1 for a friend and am having great trouble locating any LCD's or Digitizers for the device. I have encountered a plethora of other LG tablet parts, but cannot find any for the 10.1 specifically. Also, if possible I would like to keep the cost of the repair under $50, because they are fixing this one to avoid purchasing another for $200 bucks. Any help at all is appreciated, thanks.

I have the LG G PAD 2 10.1" i cracked the glass but the actual screen is fine does anyone know where i can order just the replacement glass a repair shop told me that they could buy just the glass for $25 but they wanted $115 to put it in. And they wouldnt just order the glass for me or tell me where they were getting it
