HP Chromebook 11 G5: Screen shows lines after drop

Hello,

The computer wont start after being dropped. After trying to power-cycle and doing a ec reset it booted but shows lines on the screen and freezing up at boot.

I do understand that something is broken here but if anyone can point me in the right direction.

HP Chromebook 14a-na0000: Chromebook hinge cover broken

I've had my Chromebook since June 2021, and a few days ago the plastic around the screen on the lower left (I think this is called the "hinge cover") broke, the bottom part detached from the screen (only at the left, not the entire thing) and eventually cracked completely off from the left side of the plastic. I didn't drop it, this just happened gradually I guess. At first I thought it was just cosmetic, but just now the screen flashed black for a second when I moved the computer - it isn't happening every time, in fact it hasn't happened again since, but I'm sure the issue will progress if I don't do something.

This is what I can see inside the plastic (if I angle the screen so it sticks out enough):

My question at this point is, if I made sure those little white parts on the outside were aligned right and pressed in real good, then used glue or putty or something to seal the plastic back up, would that prevent any more screen flashing or other issues with the screen itself? Can I even use those things on my computer? I don't know if the picture was clear enough, but I should be able to glue it without affecting the hinge.

HP Chromebook 11 G5: HP Chromebook Keys not responding

One of our users brought this chromebook in to be repaired - several keys were not responding at all and others only respond when pressed aggressively, multiple times. I have read accounts where this same model & issue was addressed by removing the face plate and cleaning the keyboard and connections. I am attempting that now, but would appreciate any advice.

If successful, I will document my teardown and repair for others.

HP Chromebook 11 G4: How do I Get Forced Re- Enrollment Off of my Chromebook?

I have an old Hp Chromebook 11 G4 from my school(No it's not stolen). I have tried almost every way possible of getting this off of the computer. I've even tried to do my own little twist of things that I thought might work and I can't get passed the "developer mode has been blocked by your administrator" screen. If I could get some answers that would be so awesome. By the way, I know that I can replace the HDD/SSD, but it is soldered to the motherboard and I would not really like to spend the money on a new one. I will honestly try ANYTHING AND EVEYRTHING that people suggest on here and I'll let you know if it worked or not.

HP Chromebook: Please Help! There's Annoying Teal Blotches on Certain Colors

I’m not sure what this problem is or if anyone else has had this since I can’t find any results when I try and google. To be exact, on many colors (Mainly Red/Pinks, Oranges/Yellows, and just pastels) there will be blobs of teal, pixel-y static. It’s very annoying and I’ve tried clearing my files in case my storage was the source of the problem, however there is no difference. Any advice is welcome and appreciated and I hope I’m able to fix this problem soon.
