Dyson V15 Detect: Dyson V15 Detect stops after a few seconds with no indicators

I've had it for nearly 2 years. The problem occurs when I press the trigger—it runs for a few seconds and then stops (with its signature "wooump" sound). It repeats this 2-3 times before eventually working. However, now I can't get it to run for longer than a few seconds, even after several tries.

I’ve changed the filter and cleaned everything I can access. In some forums, I’ve read that it might be an issue with the "main body," (whatever that means) while others suggest it could just be a cracked trigger, which should be an easy fix.

Dyson V8 Absolute: bin/canister will not open no matter how hard we pull

I cannot open the bin/canister of my Dyson V8 Absolute to empty the contents. The trigger does not budge. We tried the little red latch on the bottom of the bin/canister but it’s blocked. We cannot detach the canister as the top red trigger is blocked. I bought it in June last year so still under guarnatee. Dyson told me to send it to them, which I am reluctant to do.

Any ideas how to open it without destroying it? It’s been a week of pulling the trigger so really fed up at this point.

Dyson DC14: Dyson DC14 beater brush bar won’t STOP spinning.

DC14 Animal Upright beater brush bar typically stopped spinning when the vacuum was placed in the upright position (as expected). Now the beater brush no longer turns off when I stand the vacuum up to use the wand. Vacuum is also making a slight high-pitched sound for first minute or two after being powered on; not sure if any correlation but mentioning since this began maybe a month or two before I realized beater bar wasn’t stopping. I’ve taken it all apart & cleaned it well. No problem there as we have five girls with long hair & have to clean it often anyway. My best thought was the clutch, but all signs I can find online of a bad clutch point to bar *not* spinning. I have the opposite problem. Any ideas? Cannot find ANYONE with this issue online so not sure if I should go through hassle of replacing clutch or not in case it’s a different issue. What part makes the beater bar stop when the vacuum is placed in upright position?

Dyson DC45: Why does my Dyson stop working every 3-5 seconds

We have a Dyson DC45. It shuts off (stops working) every 3-5 seconds. Can this be fixed, by myself or at a repair centre?

The Dyson DC 45 ( I have shown DC56 here as it appears similar to the DC45) stops every 3-5 seconds when in use. The following is a more detailed series of the events which occur.

The Dyson is fully charged, when starting use with the brush head attachment, stops working after about 10 seconds of use.

We turn it on using the trigger starter. It stops again after about 3 seconds. We release the trigger and press it again. It starts and runs for approximately 3 seconds, then stops again. The sequence of restarting is repetitive until we give up in frustration.

Is there a "home fixable solution" or must it be taken to a repair shop? If so, where in the Toronto area can it be taken.

Thank you
