Display: Sceptre monitor blue light but black screen - no image with flashlight test

My Sceptre monitor has a solid blue power LED, but the screen is completely black. I am connecting it to an HP laptop using an HDMI cable. I have already tried:

1. Hard resetting the monitor (holding power button for 30 seconds while unplugged).

2. Plugging the HDMI cable directly into the laptop instead of using a hub.

3. The flashlight test (no faint image visible).

4. Checking Windows display settings (the laptop doesn't detect the monitor).

Is there a specific internal component like a capacitor or a fuse on the main board that commonly fails in this way on Sceptre monitors?

I picked this one up to replace a cracked HP 24" VGA/HDMI that was also 1080p as the HP was BER due to the cost of 1080p monitors at a yard sale after pursuing a few and getting lucky for once. I checked the DOM and it is from 2023 so it isn't all that old so I think the hours will be low, but is there an accessible way to get into the SM on these Aopens? The newer Samsungs with the firmware update USB port no longer have this, but this Acer doesn't have clear signs it has the issue where you have to use a dongle to check the SM.

Can't find the SM for this thing, or a tutorial.

Had an extra battery fit snug I closed my case had to push to close. When I got out on the lake I opened the case saw my 9" color lcd monitor with built in dvr was cracked and useless. It powers on but looks like cracked and liquid spread in monitor. Can I remove from casing replace the screen inside and put casing back on? It has two reasons chords one yellow male one female black

While gaming my monitor display went black and wouldn't come back on. Tried on multiple other devices using another cable as well but still no image. Not even the menu will show up when clicking the buttons on the monitor.

Samsung Display: S34J55x left half's bottom light doesn't turn on occasionally

This is a weird one - Bought this S34J55x monitor during covid, and for some reason it started developing this issue where when it wakes up, the left half of screen doesn't turn on bottom light. The right half is fine. Pixels are fine though. using joystick to turn off/turn on fixes the issue most of the time(not 100%).

This has happened both for PC(hp laptop through HP USBC dock to DisplayPort) and Mac(M4Pro MBP through a Tripp-lite dock to HDMI1).

It feels like a software/firmware issue, but I can't find any firmware updates(if they exist, Samsung's support website is...meh).

Anyone have experience/insight?

Hi,
My monitor was working perfectly fine yesterday until out of nowhere in the middle of using it, I started getting image distortion and white lines running down the screen. (similar to the image in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/u...)
I tried restarting my computer but now my monitor just boots to a backlit grayish black screen with a single black line fainting flickering in the middle, eventually the screen completely fades out every time. I have tried swapping out both the hdmi and power cables, as well as trying it on various computers, but the result is still the same: power booting to a black screen that eventually fades out.

I assume this is a hardware issue with the monitor, it's just strange because there was no physical damage done, it just suddenly stopped working.

What part could be the issue, and is it replaceable?
