Hi. I have Delonghi ESAM 04.350 bean to cup coffee machine.

- The Machine's steam function (and hot water) function is not working. I just hear 'click' noise when I try to get hot water but nothing comes out.

- When I push the hor water or cappucino button, there is no warning on the screen, but there is "heating" shows up and dissepears in a second (It should be "preparing hot water/cappucino) . It seems like something wrong with electronics.

+ When I'm using 'descale' function, hot water comes out and the machine descales normally.

+ Espresso part is ok

+ Cup heater is working properly

+ Any other functions seems working

What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks.

I have a Delonghi Primadonna Exclusive 6900.M

Everything seems to work fine except for the steam.

It will produce hot water out of the water spout and will also do a full descale.

But when I choose the steam function or put the milk canister on it makes a funny noise like it has a blockage because when I stop it some steam comes out the back of the machine. I have always done the descales and changed O- rings when needed. Greased up the enfuser when was getting stuck, that fixed that. Put rubber grommet in suction straw on the milk canister that has a smaller hole in it to slowdown the milk feed so that it heats up more, got this from delonghi. Hot cuppachino now.

What do you think is the problem. Could it be the solenoid doing this.

The machine has a external push on water and steam spout.

DeLonghi ETAM Series: ECAM 23.210.b initialisation fails when unit press brew piston switch

@vauweh I have also an other coffeemaker who gives me headaches...

It’s an ECAM 23.210.b. This one turn on, but at the initialisation when the unit touch the top limit switch from the brew piston something strange happens.

On the screen leds shows this sequence :

Warning led comes on
Warning led goes off
ESC + OK leds comes on
ESC + OK leds goes off
Temperature led comes on
Temperature led goes off
Warning lights up and stays on

I have changed a lot of parts because the previous owner tried to fix it and did some damage… So, the brew piston and the unit are brand new. The transmission motor is changed by a second-hand one. The previous owner give me 2 power boards and 2 water pumps with the coffeemaker.

After changing the parts listed above, the coffeemaker at the initialisation worked normally. However, when I pressed « 1 cup » the grinder came on 1 sec and I got the error as there was no grounds in unit.

I think the previous owner did damage on the two power boards. Because one of the two board has broken connectors. What do you think ?

Merry Christmas all.

I have a DeLonghi ESAM 6900.M Prima Donna and a few days ago, I tried turning it on but there was no power at all. Everything was dead.

I've scoured the net and it seems that the power control board are known to fail, and specifically the capacitors. The blown capacitors generally display obvious signs of failure, but I can't see any evidence of that on the power control board of mine. Any ideas what the issue could be, before I take a leap of faith and buy a new power board?

De'Longhi EC155: Possible reasons for the machine to trip on earth leakage?

I've had the similar EC153b for a decade or so, and its finally showing its age! However I would like to see if there's anything that can be done for it.

I am in UK and so the plug has the third earth pin.

The machine causes my RCD to trip due to earth leakage current when I turn it to heat the water. I read that with coffee machines this can be due to failed insulation on the boiler element, so I was going to take it apart and take a look.

Is there anything else I could profitably check whilst its all open? I notice that the terminals on the top of the boiler aren't fully protected. In fact from past experience opening the machine I think the terminals in mine don't even have those nice connectors like in the pictures.

I also read that blockage could be causing overheating. Would that be in the filter?

Would the fix for the element just be to buy a new one, or can something feasibly be done in a home workshop?

DeLonghi ETAM family: De Longhi ETAM29.660.SB grinder broken

The ETAM29 is a bean to cup machine. Instead of grinding the machine makes a ratcheting sound and displays a message saying fill beans container (already full.) Bought in 2019 so about a year out of guarantee. Any ideas?

(the loose connection was me taking it apart)

The hot water steam function is not currently working and I am suspicious of the solenoid. All the hoses are free of blockages and look clean. Hot water comes out of the “in” hose if I unclip it but nothing comes out of the “out” hose side of the solenoid if i unclip that hose (once i’ve reconnected the “in”!). Does it sound likely that the solenoid is the issue? Is there a way to test without ordering a replacement?

I have the above machine and it won't work, it makes the usual noise from the main motor on start up, then the screen shoes heating up as usual (but its not heating) And after approx 2 minutes the screen shows general alarm. I have replaced the heating element but this did not solve it. Just hoping theres a delonghi expert here, before i fire the parts cannon again! Since posting I removed the water pump and applied 240v and it works.

Hello everyone am new here, this is my first post. Hope I can find answers

I got a Delonghi magnifica evo ecam290 from the office that is not working at all and don't have much information about it's history it was just infested with cockroach and had to dismantle it completely but before that I tried it, when I turn it on all the lights are flashing at the same time and nothing happening when I press the buttons, what's even more weird is that this fault is not documented at all everywhere.

When opening it I noticed the cam slider was broken and replaced it, the brewin piston had a broken connection also and replaced it as well, after reassembly the same fault is still there.

Any idea what could be the reason ?

Hello,

I have a De'Longhi Autentica that won't produce coffee.

It comes with an error that there is an Emty Water Ciruit.

I opened it up and tried rinsing or the HOT WATER, to fix the problem.

Nothing worked and from what I can hear the pump is running but there is now water flowing through the tubes.

Any help or advice to troubleshoot this issue is a huge help!

DeLonghi ETAM Series: ECAM 22.110 with barely any water coming through

When turning the machine on, it will run for VERY long, but the rinse is pretty slow, basically just drop by drop. When "brewing coffee", it will grind and sound normal, but barely any drops comes out of the nozzles (and they are clear). When turning on the steam wand for hot water, VERY few drops comes out. Same when I try to steam (sounds normal).
I assume it's a water issue.

When disconnecting the skinny white hose AFTER the pump and turning it on, water spews out just fine. Flowmeter seems fine. No bubbles in the water tank either.

I took out the two very skinny and white tubes (1 running from the heater and 1 further up) and cleaned them. Neither clogged nor dirty. When I turn on the steamer wand, the skinny hose from the heater will have some water running through it, but there seems to be air in it as well. I don't know if that's an issue? (Air would be needed to steam, so maybe not?)

The hose coming out from the side of the pressure relief valve in front of the heater and connecting to the expansion chamber is dry. I see absolutely no water in it, when I try to do a rinse, nor when I try to brew coffe, nor try to steam/run hot water. (When I disconnect the valve from the heater, a bit of water comes out of the heater, so THAT doesn't seem totally dry and not scaley either.)
I took apart the pressure relief valve, but I have no idea how it is supposed to look or work...

So, how can I tell if the PRV is the issue? Could it be the expansion chamber not drawing water in? Or is it supposed to shoot out from the PRV? How can I tell if the PRV is defective?
