I bought this camera second hand just to practice on, but the camera actually won't focus, and all my photos are blurry. The lens moves in and out to open, and close but still won't focus, even on Auto mode.

I own a canon 18-55mm is ii. The small flex cable that tucks into the inners of the mount ring and plugs directly into the main board. Looks like a capital g. Any ideas?

I have the super steadyshot dsc-t300 cybershot sony digicam, i got it fixed once and then the shaking issue came back again, i travelled super far to get it fixed (only for the repair guy to not be there ), he said it's a stabilizer issue and that part is lose, i want to fix it at home but i don't have the guide for the camera and cannot find anything relating to this online
every photo comes out shaky, it vibrates even when no photo is being taken

Nikon Coolpix 995: Motor is constantly ratcheting

I got hold of an old Coolpix 995. As soon as I turn it on, it makes a ratcheting sound as though it's trying to focus. If I press the shutter button halfway it stops, but then starts up again as soon as I take a picture. Is this normal for this camera?

Sony DCR-DVD 108: Sony DCR-DVD108 – Disc cover sensor issue

Hi everyone,

I have a Sony DCR-DVD108 and I’m having an issue with the DVD cover/door sensor.

The cover physically closes normally, but the camera sometimes detects it as being open and displays a message telling me to turn the camcorder off. When this happens, the recordings I have made on the disc can become corrupted or disappear, and I end up having to format the disc before I can use it again.

I believe the problem may be related to the sensor or switch that detects whether the DVD cover is properly closed.

Has anyone experienced this issue with the DCR-DVD108? Is there a way to repair, adjust, clean, or replace the cover sensor/switch so that the camera reliably detects that the door is closed?

I would especially like to find a permanent solution, since I’m concerned about losing or corrupting recordings every time the sensor incorrectly detects the cover as open.

Any advice or experience with repairing this specific issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Last time the stuck pixel appeared it was smaller then overtime it disappeared but came back soon after, how do I fix it without paying a big amount 😢 Searched several times online but no clue. It’s so annoying and tiring, btw its bigger now like a round shape sort of.

Whenever I insert a new battery, the date and time resets back to JAN 1 2009. I tried leaving the batteries in to charge the IRT but it still resets.
