There is no gap between the case and the LCD panel, so a blade such as a utility knife cannot fit in.

I don't mind if the main body breaks, but I would like to know if there is a way to avoid breaking the LCD, and I would like to use the LCD on another Watch, so if anyone has a good method please let me know. Thank you.

Apple Watch SE: Apple Watch タッチセンサー　交換　不具合/Apple Watch Touch Sensor

初めて質問させていただきます。

Apple Watch SE

Let me ask you a question first.

I replaced the touch sensor of Apple Watch SE. Glass with touch sensor made in China. I was able to grab the liquid crystal, so I removed the liquid crystal and repaired it using liquid UV hardener on the glass with the touch sensor.

If you touch the screen while touching the aluminum case or the back side, you can operate it, but if you touch only the screen without touching anything other than the screen, it will not work.

I would like to know more about the cause of these symptoms, can you tell me?

Apple Watch SE: Unable to verify update

I have an Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) that was exposed to water a long time ago and stopped working. Recently I managed to power it on again, but it is completely reset.

When I try to pair it with my iPhone 13 (iOS 26), I’m forced to update the watch to watchOS 10.x. The update downloads, but when installation starts I always get the error:

“Unable to verify update. The watchOS update could not be verified because you are not connected to the internet.”

I am definitely connected to the internet and have tried Wi-Fi, mobile data, different networks, resets, and manual pairing without success.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Could this be caused by hardware damage (for example Wi-Fi/Bluetooth corrosion from the earlier water exposure), or is there any known workaround?

44 mm SE Watch worked fine but battery run time < 3/4 day with average use and health shows < 80%. Used a heat gun while removing screen for battery replacement. Screen turned a strange bronze color (watch was powered off) after heat applied. After screen was lifted up succesfully attached charger and watch booted up with white bar across screen. Face was lifted up when powered up and not pressed back in. Am I cooked?.

Of course, I checked the flex cables behind the screen, and they are properly connected. Only the tape on the flex cables was damaged. Could this be the cause? thanks a lot

Apple Watch SE: AW battery health still showing 70% after installing new battery

Hello,

Thanks to iFixit's guide, I was able to successfully replace the battery in my Apple Watch SE (first gen). I followed all the directions, including those related to battery conditioning after the new one is installed. Having done all that, however—and also having reset my watch to factory settings—the battery is indicating 70% health. I don't know if this means the battery iFixit sent me is itself unhealthy, or if there's something else I need to do for the watch to accurately reflect the new battery's health status. Thoughts?

Thanks

Hello there!
I need a little bit help with digitizer replacement on apple watch SE.

Even if i check the digitizer before instalation, it happends again, and so far happened about 5 times in row.

Im using the LOCA technique as i dont own autoclave.

Maybe its worth mentioning that sometimes if a little bubbles appear on LOCA during application i squize them out using very little of pressure around the spot, but i dont think thats the reason for malfunction.
