Acer Desktop: Device wont wake from sleep, but gets worse.

Hi Team!

I have an Acer Desktop. it’s old, but I’m really trying not to spend too much at the moment. When I let the device fall asleep for more than 10 minutes, the computer won’t wake from sleep. however, it also loses responsiveness. holding the power button does not boot it up. I have checked if it is the front panel having an intermittent cold circuit, by opening the PC and shorting the front panel Pwr Pins. This did not fix the issue.

as I continued my testing, if I leave it to the point where the device doesn’t wake and the power button doesn’t power it down if held, if I unplug it, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in, the device doesn’t boot. I have to leave it for a few hours before the device will power on again.

This feels like a PSU or board issue, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this, and can either verify my thoughts or point me in the right direction?

Acer Desktop: Bluetooth earphones suddenly stopped working after updating to Win 11

Hi there!

I was hoping to get some help with the Kurdene Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth that I purchased in 2021 from amazon. They are working great but I was on Windows 10 all this time and recently my Acer Predator Desktop PO3-600 computer updated to Windows 11. The earphones work great with my phone and other tablets, but now there is no audio at all in Windows 11 through my earphones. I have tried everything. reinstalled the Intel Wireless Bluetooth, bought a new TP-LINK Bluetooth adapter dongle....but still there is no audio... does Kurdene have any drivers that I can update with? I can hear audio fine through wired headphones and all other Bluetooth devices i have ( Bluetooth keyboard and mouse) also work great with the computer's Bluetooth Adapter...but its just the earphones that are not producing any audio. When I go into the sound properties on my computer, it shows the green volume bars moving, but there is no audio coming through my earphones....Ive gotten help from Chatgpt and CoPilot, its all going round and round in circles.... Any advice on how I can fix this? Or should I get a whole new set of Bluetooth earphones for Windows 11?

Acer Desktop: My computer has been struggling and seems to have finally failed

I have a computer that worked well for several years. Over the last year or so, it's been freezing up a bit, and over the last couple weeks I have been experiencing severe issues with the pc.

The main issue is that in the middle of me performing basic tasks, like using Google Docs, or watching youtube, or even more complex tasks, like editing in premiere pro or playing more intense video games, it will freeze up. I still hear all the audio that's playing and can hear my friends on discord, but the displays freeze until I hold the power switch and the pc shuts off.

Now, I can't even turn on the pc. The fans spin, but display has no signal. I have over 500gb very important information on there.

I dusted out the inside, individually tested each ram stick, and now I don't know what to do.

Acer Desktop: PC shut down, turns on, but won't boot anymore.

Hello, I was playing a game and my PC randomly shut down (like there was power outage). I turned it on but I just heard loud noise inside the case, monitor was not turning on. I dissembled the PC and dusted it out, after which there was no more noise, but it was still not booting.

After a search online I found an option that let me boot the PC - but I had to remove my GPU (Nvidia Geforce 970) and plug in monitor into motherboard (since it also has integrated graphics). I was relieved that it BOOTS with onboard graphics!

Now can anyone tell me some more things to check before calling it a dead GPU? Is it possible that PSU could be faulty or cable that runs from PSU to GPU? Or something else? I'm in no financial position to buy new GPU so will look into every option prior to that.

Thanks in advance for replies!

When you press the power button you could hear the beep and the fan and drive running but no input from the computer for the monitor. we tested the keyboard mouse and monitor on another computer and they work there. does that sound like a complete MB failure or could the processor be ok?
