CMF Buds: What size Mesh filters do I need to buy?

I have the CMF buds pro 2, and I was noticing that my earbuds were so quiet I could hardly hear then anymore. I cleaned the mesh filters and they are now as good as new. However, I am now going to need to replace the filters at some point, and I was wondering what size of mesh filters I need to buy.

Nintendo 3DS: Stuck On Home Menu: Inputs, Sound, 3D Slider Don't Work

I received a 3ds in a lot of damaged electronics. I've managed to repair everything so far except this 3ds which has me stumped.

The system turns on and loads to the main home screen. The top screen animation runs, I can turn the wifi on and off, the game reader reads games, the system charges, if I hold the power button to get to the power down screen, I can press the home button to get back to the home menu, and I can enter the update/safemode screen when holding L+R+A+d-pad up (Edit: was d-pad down, I meant d-pad up). I cannot enter into touch screen calibration, touch input doesn't work. On very rare occasions if I'm holding down d-pad right when powering on the system, the home menu will start scrolling right indefinitely and I'm able to "fight" against it by repeatedly pressing d-pad left and only when in this state I can enter into an app if press A at the right moment (which is how I know the cameras work), but the touch screen still wont work.⏎

Otherwise though, the joystick, touch screen, ABXY, sound, and 3d slider do not work at all.⏎

I've already tried cleaning under and changing out the digitizer, as well as the bezel, and cleaning under the button pad stickers. I've also tried systematically disconnecting one component at a time and testing to see if anything changes or works. Unfortunately, though, none of this has seemed to work. ⏎

The scrolling right only happens when I have the system taken apart, but it isn't consistent with any specific component being disconnected.⏎

The battery does have a slight curvature to it, but I'm not sure if that would cause these issues. ⏎

Nintendo Switch: How can I remove stuck Y000 screws?

The screws on the back of my Switch (original - the one that can fit in the cradle to display on a TV) are super-tight. One came out, but the next one is so tightly in that when I tried using the iFixit toolkit's Y000 screwdriver, it just stripped the slots on that screw.

I know I can find replacement screws, but how can I get these screws out? (The other two are in there tight, but I haven't fully mangled them yet.)

I should add that I've removed stripped screws before, but never this small and the screws are recessed enough that makes many of the "normal" options for removing them hard to use. (Also, considering the rubber band method - that's a problem since the slots are so tiny that I don't see how the screwdriver blades could do anything with the slots through the thickness of rubber.)

I used a different screwdriver and that worked.

The iFixit Y000 bit I was trying had a bad angle on the end that didn't really fit well into the screws: Here's a simple (and lopsided!) illustratoin:

The screwdriver tip was at a sharp angle, so the blades really didn't fit into the slot enough to actually do anything. It just wasn't designed well. I found another screwdriver with the same size bit and with a better profile to match the screw slot.

So I finally managed to install new analog sticks for my controller and calibrated them, but now it won't connect to my Ps4 it connects to my PC I tried the micro usb connector I pressed and held the PS button it didn't work I tried my other controller with same cable and it connected that controller. I also tried resetting the controller by pressing the button with a paper clip by L2 it didn't work either. I bought the motherboard from ifixit it's similar to the one I originally had could that be the problem?

This is my very first repair and I know exactly what is wrong but I have to route a wire from the left cup to the right and cannot for the life of me fit a new wire through, even a small ethernet one. Is there some kind of trick to this or am I cooked?

Google Pixel 3a: Screen not responding after battery replacement

Hello,

I've replaced my battery on my Pixel 3a, but for some reason the screen does not come on after reassembly.

I've tried my damnest to be careful, and I'm afraid I've killed it in the process. Some "lines" have appeared on the screen after removal.

Here are pictures of one of the line, and the connector to see if things are wrong.

Kobo Nia: Rubber Power button cover replacement

My N3060 NIA has a rubber membrane covering the power button. The membrane on my KOBO is so worn out that I have removed it. I can still turn the unit on using a tooth pic or match stick. Can I get a replacement rubber membrane/power button cover?

Ice maker in the left french door at top. I noticed a week of very low ice production. I have full service manual and ability to do all diagnostic tests. The ice box fan is blowing but it is coming out of the RETURN port on the upper inside of the left fridge (lower slot) rather than the SUPPLY port (upper) I can blow air through either port and it comes strongly through the other so no obstruction. All other fridge fans working, keeping temperature well.

I swapped the icebox fan with a new one (doubt it would change and it didn't) My repair manual says the door control board controls the door icebox so I swapped the control panel with another identical fridge. Before swapping I confirmed that in the other fridge the air was coming out supply and slight suction present on the return holding a piece of paper up over it.

swapping the control board changed NOTHING on my fridge. Somewhere a control board must be sending a negative 12v signal instead of a positive 12v signal to make the fan run in reverse?

Do I swap out the main board next?

The only trouble code I have is Fault 10, FZ icemaker Mold Body Thermistor (MB) Invalid. I don't have a Freezer icebox so that code is confusing. But there is a thermistor in my icebox which is replaceable only by cutting and splicing wires according to the manual.

This sounds crazy but if the computer doesn't get a reading from the thermistor int he icebox could it think it is frozen or out of range and could the computer reverse the flow to try to let it 'thaw out' or is that a whacko idea?

I'm stumped!!

Western Digital My Passport Ultra: Prying open hard drive

Hello - the actual external hard drive I have is a Western Digital easystore 2TB hard drive. The reason I chose the My Passport Ultra is because its practically the same size, form and shape as the easystore EXHD I have. Unfortunately earlier this year when I was getting my new computer all setup, I dropped this hard drive of mine on the floor as it was on top of the CPU. Now, the hard drive just makes a clicking noise every time I plug it in. I wanted to see if there was a way I can extricate the hard drive itself from the case and use a recovery reader I have . However, it seems impossible to do with no way to slither my way through the edge of the hard drive casing.
